Our Research
One of our current research efforts focuses on addressing the challenges of achieving regioselective strategies in the hydrofunctionalization of multiple C=C bonds. By implementing novel approaches that leverage control through non-covalent interactions or creating reactivity within transition-metal-free dual-catalytic systems, we are introducing new methodologies with unprecedented selectivity—beyond the reach of current approaches.
In a broader context, we aspire to revolutionize this class of reactions by developing sustainable protocols with significant potential for organic synthesis. Our focus includes applications in drug discovery, the synthesis of new materials, and the development of other compounds that address modern needs.
Our Facilities
We conduct our research at the Institute of Physical Chemistry, Polish Academy of Sciences (IPC PAS, also known as ICHF PAN), with access to state-of-the-art equipment that enables us to tackle challenges in diverse areas of homogeneous catalysis and organic synthesis. While formally part of Team 7 at IPC PAS, we carry out independent studies aligned with our research focus.
Our Mission
We are deeply committed to fostering an inclusive and collaborative environment. By emphasizing sustainability and environmentally friendly, selective methodologies, we aim to inspire the scientific community to address global challenges. We are dedicated to supporting underrepresented groups in science and ensuring equal opportunities for all.
If you are interested in joining our mission or collaborating with us, feel free to reach out—we’d love to hear from you!
